Gambling is everywhere in today's society. It comes in many forms such as bets on games and races, lottery tickets, and casino games. For some it is a way to have some fun and taking in the thrill of trying to make a profit, and they are willing to lose a little bit of money. But for others, it can change their life. The thrill they get of winning becomes an addiction. Once they win, they keep playing. And once they lose, they can't stop until they make it back, which is almost statistically impossible with gambling. This addiction to gambling can change a person's life, and affects of this addiction can lead to many negative outcomes such as debt, child abuse and suicide.
