Nerdy side of tattoos

When people think of someone with a tattoo, they usually imagine big biker guys, people in the military, or someone affiliated with a gang at first. The last person to come to mind would probably be a nerd or someone with nerdy tendencies. Nerds would rather play videos games or do homework than go get a tattoo. I am not trying to make fun of nerds because I am one myself. It is just not a thing someone with nerdy tendencies to do. With this generalization in mind I found an interest in this tattoo.
The tattoo I chose is quite humorous in nature due to its scientific and mathematical representation. It differs greatly from the usual tattoos seen today which usually consist of elaborate drawings or simple yet meaningful phrases. The tattoo contains a rubik’s cube, video game reference, chemistry model, and even math equations. The wearer is most likely an intellectual individual who is interested in the more scientific side of life. This is shown through the rubik’s cube because rubiks’ cubes require great amount of thought process to complete and the chemical compound below it represents chemistry. The tattoo also shows the wearer’s interest in mathematics and physics because of the angles, variables, and graphs. Finally the pac-man reference shows the wearers interest in video games.
This tattoo definitely goes against the mainstream of the “ordinary” tattoos we are familiar with today. It brings a humorous side to the many serious tattoos out in the world. It also shows just about anyone can get a tattoo that interest them. This tattoo is unique shows the creative side of people today even they are nerds.
